This painting captures the rugged beauty of San Juan Island, where emerald forests meet the deep blue Pacific. During my summer 2024 visit, I explored the adorable town of Roche Harbor, savored fresh oysters at Westcott Bay Shellfish Co., and kayaked the island’s scenic inlets. Each brushstroke in this piece highlights the island’s distinctive geography, from its coastline to farmlands and marinas.
