Abstracts
These pieces explore the concept of abundance, serving as abstract diaries and calendars of my life—chronicling events, thoughts, and emotions over extended periods of time. On a deeper level, these works are my personal response to God’s plan for my life. Inspired by Jeremiah 29:11—“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord...”— I've always asked: Where does my plan end and God’s plan begin? These paintings are my attempt to answer that question.
Each artwork represents not just the passage of time, but also the long, evolving process of creation itself. Some pieces take weeks, others months, and occasionally even years to complete. I typically begin with paint, letting the canvas guide me as I add layer upon layer until it feels complete. The painting evolves, often undergoing multiple transformations before reaching its final form.
