Stretched canvas prints are printed on archival canvas with mirrored wrapped edges on 1.5" deep stretcher bars. Canvases ship ready-to-hang with wire hanger installed, and look great with or without a frame.

Classic stretched canvas prints are unsigned with a satin, semi-gloss finish. Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery.

Embellished stretched canvas prints feature hand-painted embellishments on the surface and sides of the printed canvas, mimicking the look and feel of an original painting. Hand-painted brushstrokes are added to the print by Olivia with acrylic paint, adding customized dimension and texture. Embellished prints are finished with a matte varnish, and signed on the front and back of the canvas. Please allow 3-6 weeks for delivery.

Prints are sold unframed.

Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa

I was really inspired by the vibrant colors and gemstone-like appearance of this sprawling suburban area of Johannesburg. While Soweto may be relatively unfamiliar to many, its historical and cultural significance in South Africa since its establishment in the 1930s is undeniable. Presently, the township boasts a cultural resonance so profound that numerous songs celebrate its unique identity, elevating it to the status of a city in its own right.

Although I haven't personally visited Soweto, the structural intricacies and captivating color palette of its neighborhoods have captivated me. Cream-colored houses and buildings align along predominantly tree-less, burnt-orange streets, weaving a maze-like pattern that contributes to the area's distinctive character.
