This piece is based on a 2022 satellite image (shown below).
Stretched canvas prints are printed on archival canvas with mirrored wrapped edges on 1.5" deep stretcher bars. Canvases ship ready-to-hang with wire hanger installed, and look great with or without a frame.
Classic stretched canvas prints are unsigned with a satin, semi-gloss finish. Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery.
Embellished stretched canvas prints feature hand-painted embellishments on the surface and sides of the printed canvas, mimicking the look and feel of an original painting. Hand-painted brushstrokes are added to the print by Olivia with acrylic paint, adding customized dimension and texture. Embellished prints are finished with a matte varnish, and signed on the front and back of the canvas. Please allow 3-6 weeks for delivery.
Prints are sold unframed.

The illusion of snow in this painting is purely my own interpretation as I couldn’t find any good reference images. I did however, find this real satellite image of Chicago in the snow (shown in inset). I wanted to make it seem as if it had snowed buckets in a short period of time in Portland, as seen on a clear, blue-sky day (sometimes even the same day in Oregon’s unpredictable weather patterns!) It doesn’t snow every winter in Portland, but when it does—the city becomes a winter wonderland.
