Oregon City, Oregon
Oregon City is where I grew up. My parents still live right across from my old elementary school. The best part of living in Oregon City is the view from the promenade in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, and every fast food restaurant you could ever need. ;) Which leads me to the worst part of living in Oregon City: very few great restaurants.
However in recent years, that’s been changing. New places seem to pop up every month as Oregon City transitions into a more “hip” place to live. In my opinion, Oregon City has always been cool. It’s the end of the Oregon Trail, the site of the 2nd largest waterfall in North America, home to the weirdest paper mill ever, and it even has it’s own public elevator.
