Maldives
While I haven't had the chance to visit Maldives, my fascination was ignited when I delved into this petite island nation’s visual characteristics. Comprising 1,192 islands across 26 atolls, the actual topography inspired an immediate desire to encapsulate its entire essence on a single canvas. In my painting, I deliberately heightened the contrast of these islands to enhance their clarity, and to evoke a sensation of being on a tropical island surrounded by crystal-clear waters.
