The center of Portland. This painting shows five of Portland’s iconic bridges: the Broadway Bridge, Steel Bridge, Morrison Bridge, Burnside Bridge, and Hawthorne Bridge. For this painting I really wanted to accentuate the grid-like pattern of the city blocks, as well as the waterfront and Park Blocks.
