About Olivia

Olivia Serrill is an artist creating original oil paintings derived from satellite images. Drawing inspiration from her global adventures, Olivia's unique artistic vision transforms familiar landscapes into abstract works of art that challenge and intrigue viewers. Her approach prioritizes emotional resonance over pinpoint accuracy, resulting in exaggerated and sentimentally rich interpretations of the world's iconic places.

In 2021, Olivia made a pivotal decision to explore this unconventional path, and her first painting of Timbuktu, Mali marked the beginning of her journey to paint as many places as she can. She also enjoys doing commissions of specific locations, ensuring each piece's distinct character. On her endless list of places to paint next are: Machu Picchu, Mexico City, Venice, Paris, and Zanzibar.
